Once one is established in one's own true self with the help of a Master, we can overcome the tendencies that keep us creating new karmas and keep us bound to the Wheel of Life. From our new, elevated level of consciousness we can recognize these tendencies within ourself and avoid falling victim to them. Our infinite spirit self, made in the exact image of God is above the law of Karma, which only reigns over the finite aspects of our bodily existence. When our actions can take direction from this spiritual level of judgment instead of that of mind, we need no longer continue under the law of Karma. When we can see the road clearly, we can avoid stepping into the set traps on it instead of continually being caught in them as we were doing before we could recognize them for what they are. It is the Master who points these out to the newly awakened soul and thus gives us a chance to conduct our life in such a way as to do our self as little new harm as possible.
