Meditation is
single-pointed attention.
Throughout the day, so many distractions in the form of family, job, telephone, meals, conversation, television, or even the beauty of a flower, are continuously drawing our attention. Pressures and attractions of
the modern world leave us little time to know our spiritual self, our true self, which is the source of stability, peace, calm, wisdom, patience, love and joy. If we can divert our 'meditation', or our attention, from these outer things and
give single-pointed attention to our spirit, this is spiritual meditation and its benefits are many and far-reaching.
